I rolled back to 2.62 and all is well. 2.63- broken. 2.64- broken. 2.62 works. Like the saying goes, if it ain’t broke, stick wit it. ;~)

In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] Version 2.63 Post settings not workingI rolled back to 2.62 and the problem went away. I’ll stick with the old version.
Thanks. Odd that it worked flawlessly until July 30. Same with S2.
Hold off! FWP is apparently the problem or a separate problem. It started looping again even after I turned off S2. Something is going on that has these plugins going haywire. It may have nothing to do with them. Could be another plugin altogether. Man, I hate when stuff happens.
Will keep you posted. Thanks.
Will gladly send a reasonable donation for your time if you can figure a work around.
Well apparently the conflict is with Feedwordpress. It suddenly began generating multiple versions of the same syndicated posts. When I turned off S2, that stopped. So apparently the two plugins no longer get along after the upgrades. The old versions were fine.
Yeah I understand. But it’s just not feasible for me to do that, unfortunately. I’ll have to do without for now.
Thanks for your response.
All of the plugins I use are essential to the operation of the site, so identifying a conflict won’t help, unfortunately. They must stay.
This only cropped up when I updated 5 plugins including this one, yesterday.
I use the following on https://wallstreetexaminer.com
Disqus Comment System
FeedWordPress and FWP+: Add Attribution
Jetpack by WordPress.com
NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati
Revision Control
Wordfence Security
WordPress SimplePop Plus
WP-Cron Control
WP Super Cache
WP Category Post List WidgetNo. I’m using per post and only on 4 categories. Since upgrading yesterday, the plugin has been bombarding subscribers with dozens of emails hourly from categories that are not included to be sent.
However, I will pass your comment along to my webhost.
Recently, when I added new categories to my site, subscribers began receiving multiple emails from the new categories. I think I found the setting to prevent that, but all of the subscribers are still subscribed to the new categories. I have several hundred of them and cannot remove them one at a time. How can I remove their unwanted subscriptions in bulk?

In reply to: Sites compromisedAfter reading that thread, and considering the poor response that I’ve gotten from Rackspace and the fact that it was THEIR NEGLIGENCE that was at the root of all this crap, I put in a call to my attorney who happens to specialize in class action suits. I think Rackspace owes me and everyone else who has spent countless hours dealing with this crap, something.
In general, my experience with them since moving over from managed hosting to the Rackspace Cloud has been atrocious. I’m wondering if others have the same experience. Something needs to be done.
Problem is that in 12 years of running websites I’ve yet to find a webhost that didn’t have tons of “issues” so I’m reluctant to move again.
