Just figured this out- FINALLY.

So in order to change the footer credits in the Customizr theme (using a child-theme) you want to create the follow folder path:

templates > parts > footer

:then you want to create a file called ‘footer_credits.php’ ; This allow you to set the footer credits and override the customizr core.

(The trick to make it all happen…) Once you create the folders and make your adjustments from the copied file you want to make sure that you have initialized the Customizr theme- then revert back to your child theme. Everything should still be in it’s same place and the footer will be changed for you.

After looking into it more discovered that it was the ‘WPS Hide Login’ plugin that was no longer working (and has not been updated for the latest version of WordPress) –

I REALLY wish that was the problem. I do not have anything hidden. I’ve already deactivated and deleted the plugin to troubleshoot the problem. When I was testing the plugin, I suppose I deleted the wp-admin read capabilities, and I am unsure if I need to go inside of the SQL to update the tables, or reload with a fresh wordpress (which will certainly take some time.)

I am also having a similar problem- I am unable to access my login screen on any of my sites. I am running a multisite and cannot access the wp-admin login screen on any of the sites nor my core network.

I am receiving a message that says:

The current user doesn’t have the “read” capability that is required to access the “Dashboard” menu item.

Aye – no problem. I was only referring to the theme demo which explained that templates were available. I was looking for the gallery template since I am making a fashion lookbook website.

I have the same issue: There are no template drop-down options for page attributes. This is a fresh out of the box load of the Athena theme and I will be soon loading a child theme on top of it to make more modifications.

Any help is great.

I have looked at that. I am using siteorigin page builder and the plugin is the slider. Was hoping I would not have to create several tickets for this one problem. Thanks for looking into this.

Thanks. The Sidebar had default widgets that needed to be deleted. And yup – the css is not called when embeded in pagebuilder- weird. Thanks for your help. I got it working by not using pagebuilder for that specific function for now.

This is the option in the widget section, yes. But Vantage template dropdown does not have a sidebar option/ and the widget was placed inside of SiteOrigin pagebuilder.

but I am not looking for my theme to reviewed just yet, and don’t have the issues that others are having, I just want to know that if I make a theme with TABLE versus DIV and still use CSS3 and above that people are not going to be pissed off.

Using the permalink /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ and it is actually working much better. Thanks for the help on this one.

Yeah I reset the permalinks but the problem persists. I thought that was the issue as well – and I deactivated as many plugins as I could and reinstalled them (actually a lengthy task) – once clicking on the title it sometimes goes to the media file page. Should I not use Customizr
