The issue persists on a clean WP install with Astra theme and both PublishPress Authors and AIOSEO plugins activated.

None of the changes in AIOSEO Author archives page title applies and the author name is not present in the page meta title.

Yes, users have their first name set. And changing the title format under Search Appearance > Archives doesn’t change anything except the preview in the plugin settings.

I’ve managed to resolve the issue by excluding the CSS property from the theme style.css file:

html, body { 
	overflow-x: hidden;
}

I’ve re-uploaded the gallery with default quality set to 65% and now (interestingly) images are the same size in kilobytes as sources. Smaller than previous try.
