In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Site Not Being Cached?Shoot! Forget what I said about the second site. I forgot that I had to log out before checking the source.
At least for now I have checked these:
Cache System
Logged-in Users
New Post
Combine CSS
Combine js
GzipI hope that’s a good configuration.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Site Not Being Cached?I just installed WPFC on a second site, and there is no such line at the bottom of its pages’ source. I do see this line:
<!–WPFC_FOOTER_START–><footer id=”thefoot”>
which seems to indicate the plugin is working. However, FTP shows the cache/all folder as empty, which seems to indicate the plugin isn’t working!Lane

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] Tutorial on setting up WP Fastest Cache?Emre, I installed the free WPFC for the first time and wondered about the settings I should use. I ended up selecting all except the mobile ones, GZip, and browser caching. I didn’t know if the last two were a good idea or not.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Event Details Small NuisanceOops! Too late. I just edited the template to give me this example:
Ladies Bible Study
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Enjoy good fellowship and in-depth Bible study.
Thanks for the good support. I wish I were making money on this so I could share some of it with you. But I’m hosting and developing this website as a freebie for my church.

Ha, ha! Yes, I see the problem, Joe. The button was certainly next to invisible with the default color. I changed to this setting, and now the button is very obvious:
.mc-main .my-calendar-date-switcher .button { font-size: .9em; color: #fff; }

Sure enough, there was a “My Calendar” page (not post). I deleted that page, because I need the calendar in a post, not a page.
I fiddled around some more, and now the above problem is solved. I’m not sure what corrected the situation, but I’m pleased with the result. Thanks again for the help.

Thanks, Joe! Based on what you said, I don’t understand why I saw what I did. I created the post with the title “Church Calendar” before I pasted in the My Calendar shortcode. So it doesn’t seem to make sense that the title went to the default.
I’m not using any caching right now, and I deleted my browser cache just in case.
I panicked and switched to the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin. I deleted the original calendar post and created a new one for this plugin to use.
I’ll try My Calendar again and report what I observe.

In reply to: [blackcolors] Sizes for Different Elements?Thank you for the thorough response, Antonio!
I understand now about the different numbers of columns. I’m not sure about some of the results. I’ve been using this site to check different device widths:
https://mattkersley.com/responsive/
When I entered my test site, that page shows the 1024 px device with only two badly-distorted columns!I checked the test site on my iPad (no smartphone). In portrait the two columns look good, but in landscape it’s still two columns stretched out of shape.
I look forward to the next version. I am hoping to use the theme on a artist’s website.

In reply to: Can't update posts anymoreI’m going to check out the mod_write link, but I thought I would add something here:
I’m seeing this problem with any Update button, and that includes permalinks. I’m essentially dead in the water.
Later: The mod_rewrite thread didn’t provide a solution, although it seems to deal with my problem. It was said that a change in php.ini was needed, but no one said what the change was.

In reply to: [IG PageBuilder] Carousel Text Background: How to Change?Yes, that was just what I needed.
I plan to share this elsewhere, but let me say here how impressed I am with this plugin. You are generous in the features you provide in the free version, and your price for the addons is very reasonable.
I don’t make much money as a WordPress installer, so I can seldom afford the prices for multi-site installations of themes and plugins. I was delighted to purchase the $29 license for the addons.

In reply to: [IG PageBuilder] Carousel Text Background: How to Change?Thank you for that very valuable help. I look forward to using this important plugin for my own sites and those of my clients.
The second bit of code was just what I wanted, but I’m glad to have the other as well.
A related issue arose in that, although my settings for the caption font size and color (blue or purple) took effect, the Element Title is still the color white. Is that being controlled by the theme’s CSS, or is there a way to change it for just the carousel?

In reply to: [Head, Footer and Post Injections] Where does Google Analytics code go?Thanks. It will be interesting to see what happens. One theme I use has a special field for Analytics code. For other sites I’ve installed Google Analytics for WP, and it takes care of fetching and placing the code itself.

In reply to: [Easy Sign Up] Custom Send btnI’m going to have to look for a different email plugin. The Send button is just a light gray box with no text in it. I have plugins updated automatically, so I can’t make changes in the code that won’t be preserved.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Captcha Doesn't Work In Spite of Libraries Being Installed. Thanks for the suggestion, Takayuki. The hosting techs and I have confirmed the libraries are installed and enabled. The problem persists.
I have replaced Really Simple Captcha with Sweet Captcha. It works well with Contact Form 7 and my comment form.
