I figured out the answer to #2, leaving only #1 to be solved.

Under the plugin’s Settings / Text Settings, I changed this field Event title (Grid) to {time}< br >{title} without the spaces in the br tag.

The br tag puts the title where I want it.

Somewhere I got the idea that the multiple-item problem, at least, has to do with where files are stored. The plugin wants them in /var/lib/php/session, but my host will only save PHP session files in /tmp. The hosting tech said that cannot be changed.

Thanks for the Custom CSS; that fixed the problem, and it looks good now.

Can I impose on your generosity a bit further? When I click the Quantity field, it turns white, making it impossible to see what’s already there or what you get when you change it. Is there a Custom CSS fix that would allow a custom color for that field’s background when it’s clicked?

Yes, the Options drop-down has always worked for me. It’s the Reference drop-down that doesn’t work for me. However, now that I’ve switched to the Pre-set Reference, the problem is moot.

I created a special form for the page, but I also inserted the default shortcode to illustrate the problem. You can see the problem on this page. It’s over half way down, under a PayPal button.

I can confirm the 2.2.4.1 update fixed the problem with 2.2.4.

This seems to not affect everyone. I updated several sites this morning with iThemes Sync. One site I checked is OK, but another generated this error:
