I have also created a new form and even that defers to noreply@ rather than the default wordpress@

In reply to: changing the page propertiesHi mish99,
This sometimes happens if all your pages are set to Private. You will either need to make the parent page public again so you can reset the options or you may need to make all pages your amending public.
Once you have managed your changes you can then set the pages private again.
Let me know how it works out.

In reply to: Some of my navigation links are brokenOh interesting!
Could you try taking Trip Reports out of the Member Area and see if that brings the other slugs to useable?

In reply to: Some of my navigation links are brokenHi smithcreate,
If you got to Settings, Reading in your WordPress Admin, what do you have your Front Page displays set to?
Is the Post Page: set to members-area by any chance?
If that is the case it will override all your slugs and display your post. In which case you will need set up a new page for your blog/post and set that under the Reading Settings.
Hope that helps, let me know how you get on.

In reply to: changing the page propertiesHi mish99,
Instead of looking at the template option under Page Attributes, can you see the Parent option above this?
What does it say at the moment? I suspect it says:
Parent
A homepage sectionClick on the picklist, and choose no parent
Does that help at all, let me know.

In reply to: How to revert back to a previous version of a theme?Hi pmaptechie,
When you say you have the CSS, do you mean you have an older version of the file?
Do you have access to the FTP details for your hosting, as this is probably the quickest way to upload the older version of the CSS file.
I’d suggest making a backup of the theme folder on your FTP directory first.
Let me know if you have any further details on your set up.

In reply to: Embedded videos not working with httpsIt is starting to sound a lot like the theme you are using is hard coding links using non-SSL. If that is the case, then you will need to theme author to update the theme or a developer to look at amending the code for you.
It’s obviously a little hard to suggest other things without being able to see the site/theme, but I quite understand why you do not post them.
Good luck, let me know how you get on.

In reply to: Embedded videos not working with httpsSo silly question but has that theme been updated recently and did the problem start then?
It could be quicker to ask the theme author if they are aware of any issues with SSL.
If you are still having issues let me know what the theme name is and i’ll see if I can find anything online for you.

In reply to: Uploaded files not seen nor searchable in media libraryhi janickpierre,
That sound like another plugin may be causing issues with your WordPress installation.
Can you try ‘deactivating’ and couple of the plugins and see if the media library access returns?
Kind regards,

In reply to: Accessing private pagehi roguephoenixpress,
When you say
click on ‘Private(1)’
How are you clicking on this, where exactly is the link or wording you are using to click?
Have you tried going back to Pages in the dashboard, then finding the private page and clicking on Edit for that page, then use the Preview button in the top right of the dashboard?
Kind regards,

In reply to: Embedded videos not working with httpsHi Theonecloned,
How are you adding the videos to the site? Using the default WordPress ‘Add Media’ button or are you using a particular plugin to support the video aspect of the site?

In reply to: Site two years out of date – options?Hi dmz94,
Another thing to add to the excellent reply above, is that you are able to ‘deactivate’ plugins in the plugin dashboard.
That way you can start to turn off ones that may not be needed and see what affect it has on the site. If it makes no apparent difference you can then think about deleting them.
Good luck.

In reply to: Home page not workingHello thepracticalsaver,
Try going into the Dashboard, and then Appearance and Menus. Look for the ‘Home’ option in the menu and replace it’s link with just a / instead of /home.
That should give you what you are looking for.
Let me know how you get on.
