@laziototh – thanks for sharing your amazing knowledge about the INTERNETS. I guess I’m the ignorant one here, though.

Instead of criticizing me for not loving a mediocre plugin, why don’t you people take the specific feedback I have and use it to make the product better?

LC is not a user-friendly plugin at this time. I stand by my rating. I should be able to have SOME control over the min or max width of modules, without having to be a developer. And I’ve worked on websites and digital teams for 15 years, thanks.

So I should give a 5-star rating to a plugin that wasn’t user friendly? That makes no sense.

Giving it 5 stars then encourages more people to download the plug-in, which I can’t advocate for, since I think the plugin could definitely use some improvement. Hence my feedback and suggestions.

And if a 1-star rating hurts the developer’s feelings and discourages them from improving their mediocre app, that is not my problem.

Agree. Documentation is poor, and ability to do what should be simple fixes in a few clicks, are routinely impossible with WordPress. Really disappointing and surprising, considering how big WordPress is.

Actually I did contact you first for advice. The response I received, like the plugin itself, did not help me solve my challenges.

I tried for over an hour to make the LiveComposer plug-in work for my very basic needs. I could not do simple things like adjust the width of columns (to a specific pixel width), or add more than one image per line. Again, shouldn’t have to contact support unless it’s a fairly complex challenge.

It’s disappointing to download a plug-in and struggle for more than 30 minutes to simply get the plugin to display on a live web page. I shouldn’t have to contact technical support to figure out the first part of the process.

The shortcodes should be in the “installation” tab and your FAQ, etc.

There are also basic things like type size, font, and width/height of the iframe that are not easily customizable.
