In reply to: [Quotes Collection] Abandoned PluginWhile I don’t disagree, that’s not really how security plugins work. I’d love to see an updated version of this plugin. If the developer wants to release the source or wants to charge for it, I’d be very happy.

In reply to: [WP Twitter Auto Publish] Categories As HashtagsThank you. Where do I buy the premium version? I see social media auto publish for $39 but can’t find twitter auto publish premium. I only want it for twitter.
I am having the same problem as well, seems to be intermittent but consistent. I saw something in another forum about either disabling ultimate member’s login page or disabling wordfence. Neither of those is a great option
This page has suggestions of whitelisting the /register /login and /user pages in your cache plugin. I’m going to see if that works.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Works for a small site but spport is abysimalThanks Geoff.
To reiterate my point for anyone reading this. Your calendar was great and only fell short of our expectations because of the enormous volume of recurring events that we have and the above mentioned support issues. It sounds like you have addressed some of the issues but a paid support issue would be really helpful for those of us willing to bribe you to drop everything for us…
I would consider using your calendar again for a different site with a lower calendar event volume.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Works for a small site but spport is abysimalHere is one issue about the month view not working that was never resolved. The response was basically to wait for an update:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/php-fatal-error-on-month-view/Here is the issue I referenced in the review about recurring events that was opened in september and auto-closed without resolution:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-not-being-created-3/Reopened the same case in December:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-not-being-created-4/To be clear, I don’t think you have a bad product but I can’t rely on it for my business if issues take months to fix. My expectation is that issues are resolved in a matter of days/weeks. I even requested to pay for priority support and the request was denied. I am willing to pay for products but at the end of the day I expect the products that I pay for to work as designed. This didn’t work for a site with 15k+ recurring events but would probably work fine for a smaller implementation.
Yep. Noticed it on two sites with two different webhosts. All on WP 4.0.1

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 ErrorsThe problem was related to object-cache.php. I disabled object cache and it works fine now. Thanks!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 ErrorsI don’t have access to FTP right now. I am currently accessing via mobile device. I did verify that I have a couple drop-ins installed. I cannot disable them until I have FTP access.
advanced-cache.php
object-cache.php
Memcached ReduxShould those all be compatible or will they cause compatibility problems? Either way, I will try to disable them later this evening when I am by an “actual” computer.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Poll Options Not SavingYOP, can you assist for others that might be experiencing the same issue? Is this fixed with a YOP update or something else?

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Poll Options Not SavingI am having the same problem that Josh is having. Were you able to find a solution?
I am trying to set the poll options and it says the options are saved but it does not change the value.

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] Open Graph Warning after latest upgrade [6.21.0]If all plugins except NGFB Open Graph are enabled, the site seems to work fine.

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] Open Graph Warning after latest upgrade [6.21.0]It does function with no plugins, in fact it functions with all except NGFB Open Graph+ which is how it is running now.
Disabling plugins caused problems that may or may not have been caused by caching plugins. Any any case, I am open to additional testing but won’t be able to do much with enabling/disabling plugins.
