That’s funny that I assumed Mr.

In reply to: Simple Catch Theme: Changing size of header boxACK! Yes, I meant height. It’s late here and I’m tired. I’m so sorry.
Also, Using the code you suggested for centering the logo, which I’d like to do, what should I change??
So sorry for the mix-up.

In reply to: Simple Catch Theme: Changing size of header boxThank you, WPyogi, I thought firebug was for fixing bad code. I took your advice and changed the CSS, and that didn’t work. It affected my entire body and header width.
I installed firebug and am trying to use it to find how to make my header box slimmer from top to bottom and am still not finding what I need. Any other ideas?
I really appreciate your help.

In reply to: Simple Catch Theme: Changing size of header boxThank you WPyogi. I don’t have a wonky code problem though.
If you’ll visit my site, you’ll see that the box containing my header (background, logo, search bar, social media icons) is large. I’m trying to make the width of the header box smaller.

In reply to: SimpleCatch Theme: Logo transparent backgroundAndrew – Got busy but finally got this fixed. It worked on it’s own. Must have been overloaded cache or something. Thanks!!

In reply to: SimpleCatch Theme: Logo transparent backgroundThanks, Andrew. Tried that per your suggestion just now and the theme isn’t accepting my new upload. I’ve tried several times.
I’ll clear cache and history/cookies tomorrow and try again. I’m tired.
I’ll be back tomorrow with updates. Thank you again! ??

In reply to: SimpleCatch Theme: Logo transparent backgroundI’m uploading a .png file though. I think the theme is converting it to a .jpg. I’m wondering if there is a workaround for this.

In reply to: PlugIn Download Manager not working with WP 3.2.1Hi Shahnur –
I have a 77.7 MB zip file I’m trying to upload. It won’t work. When I go to the Add page, it lets me input all the information and when I click “Create Package” the page gets busy like it’s uploading and it takes forever, but then it stops – all my info on the page disappears. My new file doesn’t show up on my manage page.
Again, I’ve de-activated and re-activated DM many times now and I’ve also deleted it and reinstalled it several times. I’ve also checked for another plugin conflict.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Download Manager] [Plugin: Download Manager] Members Download Issues FixedShahnur – I registered at your forum and left you a message there. I am running WP 3.2.1 and upgraded DM to the 2.0.19 version and I am having trouble uploading a zip file. My zip file is 77.7 MB.
I have deactivated and reactivated DM and even uninstalled and reinstalled it. I’ve worked through my plugin list to clear up plugin conflicts and still can’t find what the issue is. I really need some help figuring this out as soon as possible. Thanks!

In reply to: How to disable comments? NewbieSome themes may allow you to totally block comments without resorting to moderation, etc. Do a google search for WP themes that allow no comments and then if you like the them, log into your dashboard and search and download that theme.
As for whether or not your comments are seen, the only way to know is to test.
If you’re not familiar with creating a child theme for customizations, I don’t recommend you go down that road without some assistance.

In reply to: cant get anything in the sidebar on the rightGo back and look at the mypartiss theme and see if it has sidebar capabilities and where they are and how many. If so, you may have to go into the Appearance settings and work on your theme a little bit to get the sidebars to show up.
One thing to note that took me a while to figure out is that there are themes that are easier to work with than others. I’m not familiar with the theme you’re working with. If you do a google search for WYSIWYG WP themes, you can probably find a theme that works easier for you.
