Okay, have some more info — just had a thought and realized I’d only been trying to login using Safari, and so tried Firefox — had no problems logging in. So apparently there seems to be an issue with Sentinel 2.0.3 and Safari have 5.1.1 on one Mac and 5.1.4 on another, same problems with both.

I can disable Sentinel from my login now, but would still love to know how to do it from inside of myPHP admin.

Thanks cindyjw! I just ran updates and was staring at that same Fatal Error. Fortunately I found your post, did the temporary rename and updated Genesis to 1.8.0 and ta-da! Worked perfectly! Thanks!!!

Yupper. The only possible hickup might be that the are listed as 2- and 3-column, but I have seen reference to it being referred to as Blue Zinfandel Enhanced 2.0 and 2 Squared. So I hope those aren’t updates after this capture, as I haven’t found any others at all (they disappear from his site after this capture date).

I did download both of them myself. I found postings from him where he first introduced it, then with updates and fixes, and so on.

Wayback Machine archive of Brian’s site where download templates are available as they were directly captured from his site on 1/1/2008.

Also, FWIW, I just checked them against what I have installed and so far haven’t found anything that looks different in the code.

So how much would you like for me to tell you that I just downloaded an original copy of it? In both 2-column and 3-column. And I mean original, not from a hack site.

I have found caches from his site that show that he was making it available on WordPress at least as recently as 10/1/09.

FWIW — what comes up on the Manage Themes page is: “Blue Zinfandel Enhanced 2.0” and “Blue Zinfandel 2.0 is a modern theme created for WordPress.”

So it sounds like I’ve got to go try to find something else. Too bad as it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

    Okay, let’s start over.

I downloaded and installed Blue Zinfandel. The author/creator of that theme is listed as Brian Gardner (https://www.briangardner.com/). At his website there is a link for theme support, which then took me to this forum. I can find no mention of the theme on his site or through searching here.

    Posted above:

Added: Hmmm….perhaps I didn’t get it there. I just got started on Friday and downloaded so many themes that I kind of lost track which came from where and thought it was on WordPress. But I just went back to find the original link and am not finding it. I may have found the above link via a google search.

Is there a reason that this link isn’t on the author’s site anymore?

Ah, okay. I guess that what I meant to say was that the WordPress site has THAT link on it, for that theme, on that theme’s page. So…not wanting to get wrapped around the pole with something that wasn’t my issue, but I’ve gotta ask — why then would WordPress have it on their site’s theme pages as a link for downloading?

    Directly on WordPress:

Well dang…that’s an easy fix. Hadn’t thought about it as all I was doing was trying to see if I liked WordPress. And come to think of it, that’s probably why it installs with a post there…which I deleted. My bad. ??
    Thanks!
