    Hi Roch

That plugin is great if I was migrating my entire site however I am only looking to migrate my sportspress installation from my old site to my new site. I can export/import all the teams etc. however what I am really asking I guess is how do I export/Import my SportsPress configurations? I have custom entries in league tables etc. that I would like to copy across to the new site. Is this possible?

    Thanks
    Dan

    Hi,

I echo mikedbom’s sentiments – great plugin and this feature would be a win! Do you know if there is any momentum on this?

That does indeed work! Many thanks for the very prompt response, it’s much appreciated!

Any news on this? I have the same issue I believe although this used to work before and about 2/3 weeks ago, it just stopped working?

The 3 tables I have are for exactly the same sport (of which I’ve used “Other”). The 3 leagues are setup exactly the same.
    – League 1’s table works perfectly.
    – League 2’s table, most of it works, but it appears 1 or 2 of the teams don’t move into the correct position on the table according to their points.
    – League 3’s table doesn’t sort at all

If you’d like to take a look at the site, it may make more sense, let me know and I can send you the link (I’m not sure if we’re allowed to post URL’s here?)

    Thanks again for your help!

    Hi LaMonte,

The sport I am using is “Other” and no modifications have been made. Just to ensure that, I have downloaded (3.8.8.1) and copied that over my current installation – so if any modifications were made – they no longer exist.

2 of my 3 league tables also do not sort properly?

Hi LaMonte – any luck with my request?

I also have a new strange issue – I have multiple leagues running:
Division 1: League Table automatic sorting works fine
    eg:
    1) Team A: Played 10 – Won 10 – Lost 0 – Points: 10
    2) Team B: Played 10 – Won 9 – Lost 1 – Points: 9
    3) Team C: Played 10 – Won 8 – Lost 2 – Points: 8
    4) Team D: Played 10 – Won 7 – Lost 3 – Points: 7
    5) Team E: Played 10 – Won 6 – Lost 4 – Points: 6
    6) Team F: Played 10 – Won 5 – Lost 5 – Points: 5

Division 2: League table mostly works however the last team (team F) is in the wrong position, it should be in position 4?
    1) Team A: Played 1 – Won 1 – Lost 0 – Points: 5
    2) Team B: Played 1 – Won 1 – Lost 0 – Points: 5
    3) Team C: Played 1 – Won 1 – Lost 0 – Points: 5
    4) Team D: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    5) Team E: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    6) Team F: Played 1 – Won 0 – Lost 1 – Points: 3

Division 3: League table automatic sorting doesn’t work at all?
    1) Team A: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    2) Team B: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    3) Team C: Played 1 – Won 0 – Lost 1 – Points: 3
    4) Team D: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    5) Team E: Played 0 – Won 0 – Lost 0 – Points: 0
    6) Team F: Played 1 – Won 1 – Lost 0 – Points: 5

    I’m running 3.8.8

I get this error too – any luck on finding the problem? Also, when manually adding points into the table, it doesn’t add the new points to the total, it replaces the points that were in previously with what I’ve typed?

    Hi LaMonte,

    Thanks for the reply! ??

The first thing I am trying to figure out is how to display the scores in a cricket format – I’m not sure which country you’re from or how much you know about cricket but scoring isn’t as simple as Team A: 10 and Team B: 5.

    Cricket scores are displayed as:
Team A: 232/8 (this means 232 runs with 8 wickets out)
Team B: 244/10 (as above, 244 runs for 10 wickets)

By entering in “232/8” LeagueManager reads it as “232 divided by 8” and outputs a sum lol – which isn’t convenient ?? How would I display the result as 232/8? (in cricket, the team with the most runs is the winner, so in my example, Team B would win). If you do know about cricket, feel free to tell me to stop talking to you like you’ve never heard of the game before ??

Next thing would be to add additional columns to the table – the columns my whole table would need are:
Played (P) / Won Batting First (WBF) / Won Batting Second (WBS) / Lost Batting First (LBF) / Lost Batting Second (LBS) / Cancelled (C) / Abandoned (A) / Winning Draw (WD) / Losing Draw (LD) / Batting Points (BatP) / Bowling Points (BowlP) / Penalty (Pen) / Points (Pts)

It is quite a substantial table! Let me know if this is something you’d be able to assist with?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Seeya,

Sis you ever get this working? I am the administrator for a cricket club and am looking at doing the same sort of thing – any help would be appreciated.

Hi, if at all possible, one for cricket would be great too although I have a feeling this is a little more complicated than the other sports…
