Brilliant – Of course the default settings for WordPress are either Private for me only (not my users) or public. However I’m using a community plugin that allows me to redirect anyone who is not logged in, to the log in page when they try to view the calendar.

It’s a nice work around that depends on an additional plugin. I would like the entire calendar to be viewable by the public but editable by my members, but this works for now. Thank you.

I hope you’ll consider making this option available in the free version.
I have tried a LOT of other calendar plugins and this is the only one that comes close to exactly what I need, even though most of the advanced features I’ll never use.

Thank you Adrian. I’ve signed up and moved the topic over and I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved here.

You did it! Thank you very much.

As it turns out the photos were in /uploads/sites/1/wppa

    I moved them to /uploads/wppa

everything is good now. Again, THANK YOU!

I should mention, and I do apologize for not doing so earlier. I did a complete backup of all the sites and the sql database before I made all those changes…Maybe I should search that zip file and see what directory changes are and go from there?

Thank you so much for helping.

I found WPPA_MULTISITE_GLOBAL but none of the others. It removed it as you suggested.

Check the WPPA_UPLOAD_PATH again and there was no change.

I looked in the FTP directory for those files…they’ve got to be buried in there somewhere right?

There’s a /wp-content/wppa-depot but doesn’t seem to have the images.
There also seems to be some directories floating around in the uploads folder uploads/wwpa as well as uploads/drake2k/wppa (a few others with different user names) but those don’t seem to have the images either. Here’s the info you requested

Oh snap…. Well I feel silly now. I saw you’re on Firefox so I tried it in Internet Explorer since I also use Firefox and sure enough there they are. So my first thought was to check my Firefox addons. I disabled one called “Facebook Disconnect 2.1.3”. Presto, there they are. Not an issue with WPPA+ at all, thank you very much for pointing that out. I just wish I had check it in another browser first.

    Marking as resolved.

If it were a snake it would have bit me. I even saw those probably 100 times and it just didn’t click. That will teach me to work on this thing at 4am. ??

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding Jacob!!

I should mention that I only saw this error when logged out of the site. I can bypass the front page and go straight to the admin panel just fine (which is how I was able to disable falcon).

Thank you Cuvelier. In the mean time…I like this plug in too much to delete it. At the time I was trying different options but this one…. this one is just perfect for what I want.

I found the problem. I’ll explain what was going on in case anyone else does. Sorry for the pre-mature posting. ??

This is a multi-site network. The plugin was deactivated and uninstalled on the main site…but not on the network plugins page. Once that was done all is well.

PERFECT!! Thank you very much. It worked.

From the <Ashes&#62 of the calamity!

You’re genius. I’ve tried so many other mark up type things and they all failed but this one.

    Update.

I blew out the entire WordPress install. I removed all the files, the .htaccess file, the database, the whole nine yards.

The problem persists. This is definitely NOT an issue with WordPress. Thank you for your help with this. Time to go re-install (don’t worry, I more fun doing stuff like that then I do actually building the sites themselves.)

That’s good news. Thank you for the reply. I do hope this helps someone else out later. As it turns out I scrapped the whole (host my own server) idea and went with a paid hosting service. There were many other things that had far more issues then WordPress. WordPress seems to be VERY solid software.
