Thanks karpstrucking for the comment. Once I disabled the w3 total cache the drop down menu started working, I’ve removed that and some other plug ins and my website is responding lot quicker
not being a fully trained developer in websites it took me a while to figure it out but anyways self taught and first website not that I will take it up for a living but it is a good way in controlling my sites.
