I’ve just noticed that my feedburner feed hasn’t updated since the 2.9 upgrade. I also see that MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer 2.2.5 plugin also hasn’t logged a ping since 2.9.

I think the slow system caused my problem. It turns out that the YARPP plugin was causing a time out error with 2.9. YARPP has fixed that problem so my response time is back to normal.

Yes, Response time is back to it’s old self with the new version of YARPP.

Horrible page load times when I’m trying to edit/publish a post or page! Often getting 505 error or Mysql server has gone away. It’s making 2.9 unusable.

Finally recreated the post and published. Any editing or publishing is painfully slow however. Seems to be just the post page. Other dashboard pages are fine. Keep getting errors including ‘mysql has gone away’. Hoping there is a 2.9.1 soon!

I’m having the same problem and it also started with 2.9. My scheduled post was missed and re-scheduling won’t get it to publish.
