In reply to: [Sermon Browser] Sermon Browser NOT working with WP 4.1.1 and PHP 5.5.23We put 7 or 8 hours into creating an updated version that works with PHP 5.5.23 – following the instructions provided by Extrafino. It works now (sort of – still have a few problems with file uploads, but the Sermon Manager plugin has occaisional problems with uploads too).
Having a conceptual work around is NOT the same as having a supported and managed plugin. How do we merge in our code? Do we fork the code and start our own version of the plugin? What happens if a new version comes out and clobbers our changes?
With all the recent WP vulnerabilities, can we really trust a plugin that is not actively managed? We contacted Mark Barnes (one of the original authors) 2 weeks ago and have not heard a reply.
Getting similar error messages. Version 5.0.0 is buggy. Where is version 5.0.1 ?
Having same trouble with conflicts between NextGen Gallery and SlideDeck2.

In reply to: [Download Manager] PDF file corruptionLooks like there is a conflict between Download Manager and NextGen gallery.
If NextGen Gallery is disabled, your plugin works, however, NextGen is required for several projects I support. (I will talk to the NextGen / Photocrati people also, but would appreciate your help in tracking the precise nature of the conflict.)

https://ixpservice.com/test2/2013/09/11/something-funny/When NextGen is active — the PDF download is zero bytes (adobe says it’s corrupt). If NextGen is deactivated, the PDF downloads properly.

In reply to: [Download Manager] PDF file corruptionHello Shaon. Getting ready to send you access, however, when I try WP 3.6 and Download Manager 2.5 on a fresh WP install (only your plugin active) everything works perfect.
Trying to narrow it down to a particular plugin conflict, before you waste any time.

In reply to: [Download Manager] Great plugin filling a critical need for ACLWhat changed recently?
We have had great success with this plugin with a few of our WP sites, however, this morning we are having problems with files download corruption. We are seeing PDF’s that download as zero (0) bytes, and PDF’s that won’t open (after downloading) -adobe reader says “file error – this file is corrupt”.
