One of your Jetpack options was referring to your old WordPress.com site, that is still mapped to your current domain. I updated that value to make sure it doesn’t affect the connection process.

Where did you make this change?

Jeremy – Just tried to reconnect from two separate author connections and had the same result.

PS: What was the change you made? I’d like to know so I can put it my testing punch list.

Having the same problem. Submitted a report to JP Support through the JP UI in the Settings page.

Same here. It looks like it works all the way up to the Sandbox widget but after that I cannot not drag & drop widgets.

That is a shortcode, which calls it inside of a post field. I need the direct PHP call so I can add it directly to a template.

Followed up with Pixel Insert via email and got this solved. For anyone else who runs into this problem, here is the solution:

Even though I deleted the plugin from the WP admin UI, it was still on the filesystem and active. Removing it from the filesystem via FTP fixed the problem.

gopanthers – I installed bwp-polldaddy and it seems to do the job.
