The only reasoning for why Elementor doesn’t allow users to add or edit alt and title tags for images I could find is that apparently these fields were too confusing for some of their users. I suppose they’d rather hurt the SEO of all of their users than make a few people have to Google what an alt or title tag are.
It’s a shame because I was recently thinking of redoing all major pages on my site with Elementor, but now I’m not sure it’s really worth it.I found this information here: https://github.com/pojome/elementor/issues/1053
Hi @gemmaevans,
The issue didn’t appear to be involving the confirmation being sent to a spam or any other folder. I have a few email accounts that I used to test it myself and was unable to locate the confirmation email anywhere despite finding it in my spam the very first time I set up and tested the widget.
However, I have since tested out another email subscription widget and had the same issue, so I no longer believe this is a Jetpack email subscription plugin issue, but rather an issue with something else on my site.
Thank you for your response though! I’ll try to figure out what’s really wrong now and hopefully get back to using Jetpack soon.

What exactly was the fix for this? I’m having the same issue. During the first few days of having the Jetpack subscribe widget active, everything was working properly. However, no new subscribers are getting verification emails (spam has been checked as well). Those who were already subscribed before this issue started are still getting the emails about new posts, but no new subscribers are receiving confirmation emails.
