The WP Simple Firewall part is crippling my site speed – is there any way to minimize that without having to switch off the firewall? And if not, how useful is the plugin without the firewall (or should I find an alternative plugin?)

Just how exactly do you expect a plugin to show you visitors from before you added it? I think you need the WP Time Travel Stats 1.7 plugin

Hi – I tried that – no luck
Tried uninstalling it – no good,
went into my server files and deleted everything to do with it and no luck,
went back and then deactivated all plugins and still no luck,
Have the same problem on a site I just set up yesterday…this does not bode well. 4 posts added and none visible except by the direct link.
Tried installing a new caching plugin – no good.

Any ideas? This has shot dead at least two sites for me.

Hi – I have done both – separately and simultaneously – still not seeing the new post.

I just changed themes and the blog does show up… I am an SEO content writer rather than a techie guy, so while I know my way around WordPress as a user, I am not very good with anything except basic html/coding.
Would this require a big fix?
The client isn’t all that happy with the theme as it stands, so if it would require a lot of work I may be better off just changing the theme to one I am able to work with.

Hi, is that just to troubleshoot? because the website owners want to keep the site theme they have.

I completely gave up on this after about two days of wasted time… it should be taken out of the repository or have one of those warning signs that it is unsupported.

I had the same problem – really loved Shareaholics related content but had to stop using it when it showed pages i didn’t want shown
