In reply to: Please check out my photography site – not yet “live”eh. ok, so you’ve lost me for a second. the ‘Log in’ in the very top right of your page, it currently links to the wp-admin.php which is word press admin page, but your proofs, from the looks of it are going to be done with gallery2 which is in the folder ./wpg2/ all completely different folder.
Are you just using the current log in link as a place holder or am i missing something?
Also, drop me a line at dbrock {@} db-photo [.] com (Gotta beat the spambots) I’d be glad to share a few pointers on a few issues i ran into with gallery2 as a proofing system.

In reply to: Visual/HTML Editor not working properlyit has to be one of two things.
1 – The thickbox.js file is not being loaded, most likely the <script src=” tag in the header is calling the wrong file (i.e. path error) or;2 – There is a syntax error in the javascript. have you messed with the source on either of these files?
With the error you are getting, it is a java script error, so the php is executing. what build of WP are you using???

In reply to: WordPress eCommerce SiteOk.. I’ve got 2 bones to pick… The header, as complaint brought up is just ugly. But complaint, its not brown, its deep red (#660000). I would match it with the other darker grey you have in the header (#a8afb7)
Here is an image i threw together https://www.db-photo.com/images/newheader.jpg
I would also change the footer at the bottom to match the dark grey (#a8afb7) and set the text in the footer to white. Also, the footer is offskew. You have a margin on the left/right/bottom, but the footer text is flush along the top. You should match the margin.
Also, one more thing on the header, if you look closely at the bottom of the image that i linked to above, you’ll see that the bottom edges of the dark bars overhang passed the bottom of the grey bar that crosses the bottom of the header. Only by a couple of pixels, but still noticeable and an eye sore.
Good luck with the launch.. ??

In reply to: Please check out my photography site – not yet “live”Hello ‘readheadedninja’ (That kind of scares me, I’m afraid of Ninja’s, long story involving my brother a few years ago)
Firstly, love your site, I too just finished a COMPLETE renovation of my photography website (Breaking the rules here, I know, but https://www.db-photo.com)
A few things:
1 – In your navbar across the top, the FAQ button links to a password protected page, however you have recent posts that are FAQ content. This could lead to confusion/problems with visitors
2 – Kind of the spell checker in me your FAQ: Why can’t I print my own prints, “Exhibit D” is listed twice. I know.. knitpicky.
3 – And finally, I don’t know if you prefer it this way, but in the circles I run in, and conversations I’ve had with lots of people, but having the ‘Login’ link for your blog admin listed (unless of course you have multiple contributors) is kind of tacky.Other than that, the site is great. ??
