Dear?@maybellyne, thanks for your patience. again here the screenshot i initially posted:?https://ibb.co/vHyvxBP
This empty space is added after the placeholder variable. Its not only because of the german formatted quotation marks ?“ but also on other characters. It might be intended, because if you use ‘normal placeholder words’ you want them to be separated. but in my case, i need the placeholder to be wrapped in THESE ?“ quotation marks. exactly the way its described in the github issue. so i think it could affect more people than your team thinks.

Nice, that you reproduced it on your screenshot.

german language. the space is shown in frontend and backend. if you delete it and save it, it’s gone on both ends, but only until the next admin settings page load, then it’s back by default which then will be save again, if you don’t delete it manually all the time for each post type.

Yes, you tried with these “” but I mean these ?“ quotation marks. Please also check it in the admin settings, where you can define placeholder titles for post types.

Hello! Yes, any of the placeholder variables wrapped in these ?“ quotation marks are leading to an extra empty space added after the placeholder and before the closing quotation mark. Occurring after saving / page reload or switching submenu. so it’s wrong format, when it loads again and you always have to change it before saving again.
