Actually, I went back to the previous version and I’m still getting the same problem and now I can’t log in at all.

Did your URL re-direct to wp-login.php one directory up? If so, I’m getting the same problem on FF 3.0. I’m beginning to think this is more a FF problem as this new 3.0 is still pretty buggy. Regardless, I reverted back to the previous version.

I’m running into something similar where I can’t login to the admin panel after an upgrade. The login URL re-directs from /wp-admin/ to /wp-login.php in the root. I reverted to the previous version for now.

FYI.

This plug-in does not work with WordPress 2.2. If used with firefox, an error message appears stating that the request can’t ever be finished.

It would be a great benefit if someone could come up with a definitive doc on how to get the SEO friendly permalinks working.
