In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] CPU Spike, Not Sure WhyYou said you experience this even when the cache had been completely built?
Please make sure you have ‘optimize prebuild only’ checked and uncheck optimize in background. Also you can disable ‘generate critical css’ to lower the load on your server.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] defer javascriptYou are using cloudflare’s rocket loader to handle the loading of scripts. As a general rule you should never had 2 different tools trying to do the same job. This is no exception to that rule. My personal suggestion is disable cloudflare rocket loader and turn off minify html, css, js under the speed tab in cloudflare. Clear Swift cache and test to see what scripts are loading and when and make adjustments from there.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Did not cache for userYou can set the caching for logged in users. Go to Settings > caching > general and check the box “Enable Caching for logged in users”.
Please note: all logged in users have a separate cache for every page. It can increase the total cache size, depending on the count of your users and number of pages.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] High CPU Usage Follow-upIf you are continually clearing and rebuilding the cache, then yes, it will spike and possibly crash. Especially in a shared environment. You can control how much resources swift uses. Go to settings > optimization > general > Limit simultaneous threads. Check that box and set a number (2-3) and see what works for your setup.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] won’t prebuild cache on one site (rare scenario)@applejack1923 the plugin is usually pretty good about cleaning up after itself, but if you want to check it you can uninstall the normal way through wp-admin dashboard. You will need to get in your hosts cpanel / file manager or ftp program. Check the htaccess file to make sure all re-writes related to swift are gone. Then go to wp-content > cache and check for a ‘swift performance’ folder. If the folder is there, you can delete it. That will give you a clean space to re-install.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] won’t prebuild cache on one site (rare scenario)It is a fantastic plugin and it will be solved. Troubleshooting random issues is one of the most difficult jobs to tackle, but it is actively being worked on as we speak. Thank you everyone that has given input so far.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] won’t prebuild cache on one site (rare scenario)When did you install the plugin the first time? When did you notice this behavior? When you uninstall / reinstall, did you check htaccess to see if rewrite rules were deleted? We are trying to nail down a bug. The more info the better.
