What version of the plugin are you using? Mine is 5.0.1

My elFinder version is 2.1.18 which leads me to believe that you’re running an outdated plugin. The file manager itself works—it’s when you activate the pro version with the permissions system that the entire WP admin dashboard starts giving out 504 errors. I tried the fix that’s been mentioned in the support forums but there was no luck there.

Bugs are fine, but the frustrating thing here is that the developer has barely responded. The support page on the website just displays a shortcode “[wp_support_plus]” and nothing else, and the only response from the developer is above, which didn’t fix the problem.

The update didn’t fix anything. Support on your website is still disabled.

@barcombeboy – are you using the pro version or just the free version? The pro version breaks the site completely, as other people have reported as well.

Same for me. Event when the default image is set, no image shows on the actual AMP page. When I run it through Google’s structured data testing tool, it finds the image.

Found the issue. Turns out it was all because of a piece of code I had put into the functions.php file to shorten the titles of the portfolio pieces to a certain number of characters if need be.

When WP updated, that got overwritten, and of course downgrading meant it would still be gone. So I fixed that.

Also, (to the Nimble author), different templates don’t work for me. I can make one, but it seems to just default to 3colround, even if I specify 3colsquare in the shortcode. I have the free version of this plugin obviously, but I thought we still had the option of making templates ourselves?

I figured out the problem, though it’s a little weird. I guess somewhere along the line, the portfolio template I was using got messed up (I had a custom one to match my website) and so it conked out. Not sure why it just randomly decided to do that, but okay.

So now I’ve reinstalled the Nimble plugin and I have to recreate my old template.

Just solved the issue, though it doesn’t seem to make sense. The post title contained a “…” so I removed it and the CSS works properly… I will be contacting the theme author.

Oh, silly me. I was using the wrong functions.php file ??

Also, I tried adding it to the child theme and it didn’t work. I had to do it on the parent theme. Not sure why, but it works now.

Unfortunately, when I do that, I get a server error and I can’t access any part of my website.

I am using a child theme of the “Responsive” theme. I copied the functions.php file from the main Responsive theme to the child theme and added that line, and it breaks.

Even without that line, it breaks. Just having the functions.php file makes it break.

Also note that I am using Multisite (just set it up this morning). I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

Alright, I see the problem. For some reason, in the full-width-page template, there wasn’t a link to the footer. I added it and it works now. Thanks so much!

One more thing: Is there a way to make the gallery bigger on the page?
