We have been thinking before about your suggestion of basically transform tables into “lists” or “piled tables”….the problem we encounter is that both it will not work for more than plain tables with no row or colspans and also the problem on forcing a solution that may work well in some cases while poorly in others you really need the table structure.

Have you checked that those pages are indexed by Google?

Google indexation is not inmmediate unles you request it via Google webmaster tools…

I have just had a look at it and the issue is that teh equations are stored as compound OLEObjects and wmf images and both are not browser compatible.

Have you tried to use the Math editors of Word or LibreOffice? In that case it should work although I acn not assure you is going to be 100% proof.

What do you exactly mean?

The files are stored in the Media Gallery so if someone manage to see the path they will be able to download it like any other element but to the best of my knowledge no link is offered for download.

You may also use an htaccess file that filters which fiels may be downloaded from the server….

By the time being the document needs to be available in the media gallery but it should not be too difficult to extend it to external files…let us have a look at it and we will get back to you if we find a fast way to do it ??

Although the text is indexed by external robots I am afraid that the text may not be searched by the standard search widget because in the wp database there is only kept the reference to the document.

The only available solution to the best of my knowledge is to include Google Search in your wp.

What is served to the final user browser is plain HTML + CSS. Therefore Google or any other search engine robot should not have any problem indexing the content of a WP page or post whose content has been generated with the help of the Docxpresso plugin.

I would like to include it like an option on rendering.

I have done some prior testing and it should be possible but ir requires to change the parser so it is not something that is so simple ??

We will think of the best possible solution and i will get back to you asap.
