Before doing that, I tried again to upload pictures and the problem was magically fixed!

I tried it in chrome, same problem. I also deleted 6 pictures from my site to see if it is a storage problem. But I still couldn’t upload anything new.

I also tried installing the plugin “Classic Editor” upon a suggestion in another thread, but got the same problem when I tried to insert media.

I have automatic updates for wordpress, and am running 5.3.2. Is this the version that wouldn’t let you upload media? Do you happen to know when it came out so I might figure out when it was automatically updated?

I am having problems uploading media as well.

I don’t think I have a disk quota– I checked my dreamhost account just now and didn’t see one, no error messages, nothing to indicate anything is wrong on that end.

I wasn’t able to enable PHP errors to be written because it says you can’t do that with a live site. My site has been live for years now (with never a problem like this).

Everything else is fine.

BTW I am using safari as my browser, and on my blog I have automatic updates with the latest version of wordpress 5.3.2.

How else can I let people subscribe to my blog?
