In reply to: unable to upload image to media libraryAn update – turns out that it was a version of php that needed to be updated (it was on 7.2.31 – I updated to v7.3.19 and everything worked again).
Thanks for the response, Tyler!

Anton, do you happen to know of any plugin that will automatically adjust DPI?

Thanks for the response, Anton. Even though it wasn’t the one I was hoping for.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Mission News] Have featured image available in article previewExpanding upon tapiwaz’s original question, I am interested in reducing the size of the featured image on the most recent post displayed on the /blog/ page. Out of the box, it is a full width image, which I would like to reduce to around 60% of that, but only for non-mobile devices. Is there a way to accomplish that? Perhaps with a specific pixel width, rather than % ?

Vik, it seems like it may also be breaking your menu display in 320×480 and 480×320.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Overflowing header image is cloaking footerOkay, I have no idea how it happened, and even less idea how it fixed itself, but I added the Sections back, along with their featured images, and the footer is no longer cloaked behind the bottom half of the header image.
And before anyone asks, I had cleared both the server and browser caches with every single change I made, while looking for the problem…
Guess I’ll just have to keep a close eye on it and hope it doesn’t recur. Thanks, everyone.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Edit buttons on widgetsI don’t know that this offers anything, Michael, but this is the version.php file from the site:
<?php /** * The WordPress version string * * @global string $wp_version */ $wp_version = '4.5.2'; /** * Holds the WordPress DB revision, increments when changes are made to the WordPress DB schema. * * @global int $wp_db_version */ $wp_db_version = 36686; /** * Holds the TinyMCE version * * @global string $tinymce_version */ $tinymce_version = '4310-20160418'; /** * Holds the required PHP version * * @global string $required_php_version */ $required_php_version = '5.2.4'; /** * Holds the required MySQL version * * @global string $required_mysql_version */ $required_mysql_version = '5.0';

In reply to: Edit buttons on widgetsI just updated another of my UK sites to 4.5.2 en_GB version and the widgets pages there still shows the traditional drag & drop style. So I guess that shoots down that explanation.
