I inserted the sitemap_index.xml insted of – sitemap.xml

and this showed up.

As i said , sitemap_index.xml directs to a page not found.

Yes. I generated unique salts and keys with the link provided inside the file , and pasted them .

also inserted a table prefix.

I went through it and it looks normal

In the config file i did change
authentication Unique Keys and Salts

with the link that generates random ones.
