  • I host with Blue Host so I don’t think it’s exclusive to Go Daddy.

Same issue here. Still having it after updating to 3.5.2

I can update everything individually but I can’t do bulk updates or delete plugins on the plugin page. JP Stats not showing up for me either.

This is the message I get on the 404 page when trying to delete a plugin:

I would hate to lose any customization that I’ve made on the site. What is the most specific way to do this without ruining anything?

Just switched to Twenty Twelve and deactivated all plugins. Once that was done, I tried deleting a plugin I haven’t used in a while and it 404’d on me again.

Got it. There was a lingering </div> tag with no opening.

I actually removed it for now but it is a nice touch.

Sorry to be a pest but how would I make that first blog post not look like a blog post (ie remove comment, date etc..).

I’ve been using WP for a long time with my site angryweb dot net but I never had to make it NOT look like a blog.

You have been a great help munny!

Ok, I used a plugin that scans files and lets you know when something is out of the ordinary. I had a couple of errors in the footer which were just hacks trying to prevent anyone from changing lines of code in the theme but there was a plugin I found on one of the sites I’m hosting. After deleting it, I haven’t had the problem. My guess is either it was generating the hack since it kept happening every few hours or it was a backdoor.

Either way, everything seems to be good now.
