I found the problem with a new plugin media library. Apparently they are working on a fix with their new release.

I found the issue. Recently set up multiple categories’ with medial library manager plugin. Went to plug in site and see this is a problem they are working on. So just have to wait for their new release.

OK, by change I typed in admin at the end of the url, and bingo, brought me to the log in.
All set now.

Yes, I managed to switch the header picture. The image button requested a URL which I copied from the library. Worked fine.

thanks for sharing this. I too am a newbie without coding knowledge. I’ve been reading thru the forum trying to decide whether to put in the time on this vs a standard wp theme. Problem is for me, I don’t when a problem is me, or the theme. But what I do see here on the forum is support appears to get back to people, which is a real plus. Guess I will give it a go.

when doing this kind of modification does it have to be done in a child theme to prevent being overridden with the next update, or will it be fine as is?
