To optimize how your site handles these types of files, you can set expires headers on your more static assets like css and js as well as merge all of your css in one file so it’s not loading so many different assets. Link below is a good basic setup for setting expires headers. The code mentioned here goes in the main .htaccess file.

If so, then there is a conflict with another plugin and you may activate each plugin one at a time to see which plugin is causing the issues. Seems like the chair of the event’s email is setup to receive status emails or is BCC’d to receive the confirmation emails. Please check the following sections and make the appropriate changes.

1. Settings>Confirmation Email – Remove his address from the BCC receipients field
2. Settings>Status E-mail – Disable this feature or update it.
3. Go to each individual sheet to ensure that his email address isn’t included under the Additional Settings>Sheet Specific BCC

If the chair of the event continues to receive confirmation emails, email me at [email protected] so that we can investigte further.

If you’re using the free version, via the dashboard, go to Plugins>Sign-up Sheets>Settings and verify that “Display Detailed Errors” is unchecked and the from address is correct. If you are using the PRO version and can provide me temporary admin access to investigate, email me the credentials to [email protected].

In addition, the pro version no longer needs to use the shortcode to view a specific sheet as URLs are automatically created. When editing a sheet, there is a “View Sheet” button which will bring you directly to that sheets specific page. You can also add a direct link to the Sheets URL anwhere you would like using the built in link functionality of the visual editor.

We will consider adding this to a future release but it wasn’t in the pipline. There are 2 different ways of displaying a specific sheet or a group of sheets on the pro version. You can enter the sheet id # within the shortcode [sign_up_sheet id=”1″] which will only display sheet ID #1 on the front-end. You can also create a category, assign a sheet or multiple sheets to that category and use the short code to display all sheets associated with that category [sign_up_sheet category_slug=”new_sheets”]. Sheets utilizing task dates will display all tasks including expired tasks (users will not be able to signup for tasks that have expired), however, the entire sheet will disappear after all of the task dates have expired. Let me know if you have any other questions.
