In reply to: [Image Refresh] NO refresh if not logged inMicah
That’s really helpful and thanks. We have no WP cache plugin at work but we do use a host that provides a CDN. I will ask them about excluding the specific page from that.
Again, thanks.

In reply to: [Image Refresh] NO refresh if not logged inThanks.
That makes sense BUT cache bypass (CRTL-F5) does not work which is is little surprising.
I am curious why that doesn’t affect the displayed image – I would have though the page would be rebuilt on a forced reload.

In reply to: [Mendeley Plugin] Unreliable connection to online source?OK thanks for the update. It isn’t crucial that I generate bibliographies on the fly so I can manage this.
One workaround might be to have an option (e.g. a shortcode parameter) that sent the output to a text file. That way I could do snapshots of my Mendeley biblios.

In reply to: [Transients Manager] Transients labelled ‘Does not expire’Thanks. OK I need to be careful!
Another way to ask the same question is: do non-expiring transients matter much?
Thanks again for quick reply.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] dom parametersThanks Tobias
That was helpful. I didn’t realise I could play with the sequence of letters like that! An experiment I should have tried.
Thanks for the link to the help page. I still don’t understand the details but this more or less does what I want:
“dom”: ‘Wiplfrtilp’
I just need to tweak the CSS to fix the page layout.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Category filter operator? Thanks
A workaround is that the combination of a column filter with a search works like an AND.
So, filter for ‘Safety’ and then search for ‘online’ is an AND…not quite what I wanted but it’ll do.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Category filter case match? Thanks. Just thought I would check. It’s not too inconvenient. I just have to make sure every category term starts with the same case letter!

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Category filter case match?Oops – sorry this is a mistake!
In fact the filter lists both versions of the keyword BUT the keyword beginning with the lower case letter is listed at the end of the list, after the keywords that begin with a capital letter.
It would be preferable therefore if the column filter could list keywords alphabetically regardless of their case.
Not an urgent fix though.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Possible bug?Just in case it’s relevant, on both occasions I was using:
Import table > Replace existing table.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Possible bug?I meant the Table Auto Update extension

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Possible bug?Sorry – not clear. I was using the File Import extension to update a table.
I wasn’t referring to uploading CSS – that’s just my vague writing!

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Possible bug?I just lost my CSS again!
Using Upload at the time.
Don’t worry about it too much. When I get around to it I ought to check for a plugin in conflict. I am happy to use my style.css instead until I do that.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Possible bug?Ah OK. Thanks.
Makes sense based on what I’ve seen.
Does that that in principle I could write my CSS out manually all on one line?
I know, it would be a daft way to write it, but presumably the list layout is not an essential part of the CSS file.
