Thanx George! I keep praying that the fix comes soon! Our website is HUGE & I’ve used the Portfolio Slideshow throughout the entire thing & the thought of having to move all of those images to another plugin almost makes me want to cry! It would take me literally weeks to do. Fingers crossed the fix is soon & it doesn’t break something else!

This plugin is breaking my Media Library & not allowing me to open it! PLEASE, can this be fixed!!

Simple Slideshow Manager is a great plugin, but it’s a pain moving all of my images from Portfolio Slideshow to Simple Slideshow Manager! I’ve used Portfolio Slideshow forever & all over the site! I would have recommended Portfolio Slideshow to anyone looking, but these past months have been a nightmare! I deactivate it, work on the site, then reactivate it when I’m done. What a nuisance! I’m in the process of moving the site to a new hosting service thru GoDaddy & before I go live with the new site, I guess I’ll have to spend HOURS moving all of the images from Portfolio Slideshow to Simple Slideshow Manager.

PLEASE HELP!!!

How do I get to src/Portfolio_Slideshow/Plugin.php to comment out those 2 lines? If I go into Editor for this plugin, I can’t see the code.

I’m having this same issue where my Media Library isn’t loading until I deactivate this plugin. I am using WordPress 4.3.1.

Same here ggwicz — I use GoDaddy & they’re using PHP version 5.3, but it breaks my site every time I do the upgrade. Is there a fix in the near future?

Tanna, you’ll need to go into your hosting provider account files (ex: GoDaddy) & delete the plugin so that you can log back into your site.

Glad I could help jugomono! It worked on one the sites I maintain, it still broke it on another. Guess it must depend on the theme you’re using as well.

Same issue here – I’ve downloaded v1.5.1 from the Developers tab:

Make sure you delete the new version & upload v1.5.1. You’ll be back in business!

I gave up on it & used a different theme.

Kyron, make sure you add your email address where you want the forms to go & that the box labeled “Send all WordPress emails via SMTP” is checked. That’s all I had to do anyway!

I also had the same issue & followed sjwormann’s lead & downloaded the WP Mail SMTP Plugin. Fixed it in a jiffy!
