In reply to: [Better Font Awesome] Display Icon With pseudo css :beforeThanks for looking into it, Mickey.
I’ve used angle right and angle left a lot for links; the latter for ‘back’ links as on this page (in the breadcrumb location): https://bit.ly/38oOxnS
a.back::before {
content:”\f053″;
display:inline-block; /* no underline on hover */
position:relative;
top: -1px;
margin-right: 2px;
color: #b2292e;
font-family: FontAwesome;
font-size: .7em;
line-height: .8em;

In reply to: [Better Font Awesome] Display Icon With pseudo css :beforeSame issue for me with 2.0 — and I use FA pseudo elements on dozens of sites.
I’ve tried with and without v4 shim, and with and without ‘Attempt to remove [other FA]’ setting. De-/re-activated plugin. Icon doesn’t display.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can you stop with your annoying notifications?+1 on this. I also have dozens of websites, so individual actions or workarounds aren’t satisfying.
‘Hungarian’ seems like the last straw.
Great plugin — no need to annoy users with every small notification point.
Thanks very much, Munir! Cheers.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeI think that explains it.
Thanks again for all your work, Till. 5-star review and donation.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeBut may I’m wrong. I just logged out of one of those two sites and logged back in and the notice isn’t there.
If checking the “x” was all I needed to do then I have wasted your time.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeI believe I have done that on every site, and yet the notice is still there on the first two sites I just checked.
And that’s the reason I wrote you about this in the first place — I had run the scanner and had checked the “x” and yet the notice was there next time I opened WP, which made me wonder if I had checked that site already when I had.
There have been many occasions in the past where the “x” does not dismiss notices for other plugins; they keep coming back. That’s the reason I assumed — maybe wrongly — that ‘dismiss this notice’ links do something different, like set a cookie.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeThe one referenced at the top of this thread:
“Protect your email addresses! Receive automatic warnings when your site contains unprotected email addresses, or use the page scanner to test your site manually.”Having scanned, I would like this to go away.
Would it go away if I elected the ‘automatic warnings’ option?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeThe notice about the scanner is a good one, and I followed the link and used the scanner for all my sites. (In the process found a few unprotected addresses which I fixed).
My hope was that, having followed the link on every site, I wouldn’t see that particular notice again. And if that action doesn’t create a cookie to make the notice disappear, next best would be a manual “dismiss this” option which I could click.
Instead the notice is still there on all my sites and the only way to dismiss it, if I understand correctly, is to turn off all future notifications, which I prefer not to do.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Email Address Encoder] Displays notice every timeHey Till.
I also hoped this notice would go away once I had clicked it. I saw the option you mentioned above to turn off ALL notices but didn’t want to do that.
So no way to turn off this particular notice (which I have clicked on every single one of my sites to test using your scanner) without turning off all future notices? Or am I misunderstanding?
Thanks for all your hard work on this great plugin!

In reply to: [Mass Pages/Posts Creator] Fatal error on activationI’m not sure why the version of the plugin that I installed from the WP a couple days repository had a couple misplaced characters on that line, so I got a “fatal error” message when I tried to activate.
But no matter — I just downloaded the same version of the plugin and the code is correct. Thanks for following up.

In reply to: [Invisible reCaptcha for WordPress] Gravity Forms ErrorsExcellent. Thanks for the follow-up and the great plugin!

In reply to: [Invisible reCaptcha for WordPress] Gravity Forms ErrorsI got the same errors. Hit the ‘back’ button, unchecked the Gravity Forms option, saved, cleared cache, and then re-ticked the GF checkbox. Second time it worked without errors.
