Great job on the plugin, by the way. It’s pretty much a default for me with every install of ACF. There’s a chance I may actually be interested in sponsoring further development of this, provided I have the finances to do so. I think a lot of people would really find it useful. Could you give me an estimate somehow?

Yes, that episode is showing up in iTunes as a new podcast. I’ll get in touch with iTunes support. I’m assuming that if I’m having this trouble, most likely someone else is too. I guess if I find anything out on that end I’ll post it here.

Ok, I just found the “Block from iTunes” box that I’ve apparently never noticed. This may suffice, but it would also be nice to potentially be able to block a certain category, keyword or something like that.

I’m having the same issue with 1.8.4. As soon as I deactivate Adminimize, the Featured Image metabox comes back.

Another interesting thing is that (when activated) the checkbox for “Featured Image” doesn’t even appear in the “Screen Options”.

This solution is great, except that you lose the built-in “current-menu-item, current_page_ancestor, etc.” classes in the process.

So, I just wrapped it in:
if ( is_category() ):

That way you maintain those classes when you’re on a regular page. This whole thing really does seem hacky, but I can’t seem to find any better solution.

Thank you so much for these posts. I’ve been working with a very similar situation — a sermon archive for a church website with taxonomy images. I used kReEsTaL’s method of creating a page with the custom template. This saved me a pile of time and headaches. ??
