I’m with Stefano on that one.
The database file in the root directory of the backup is out-of-date.
I had a problem with my site.
I was confident because I had made a backup with backup WordPress right before…but then I couldn’t restore the latest version of the site.

Luckily the automatic database (only) backup works and I could recover a not-so-distant version of the site there… but still, the complete version should be really complete and include the database when it says it does.

Of course, I might just not understand the way the plugin works, maybe there’s another db file stored while making complete backup …but in that case please, point me to it.

    Thank you

I checked the page you sent and it’s the same filtered search as in wordpress so It’s fine.

The wordpress I’m on was installed last week.

I had previously the same problem with other install of wordpress.

I’m a bit afraid of reinstalling as I could loose my content.

    thank you for your help.

no, I can upload it through WordPress interface which seems to me quicker.

what I can’t do is browsing the themes directly from WordPress : I have to go to other websites (which increase the risk of stumbling upon unofficial theme).

    Solved :
In case WordPress wasn’t uninstalled, you can access it via the host database.

In order to do that, I had to edit this file
    c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

    with this line
    {Ip adress} domain name
    so for example
    23.445.324 https://www.steakhouseorchestra.com

    I edited via notepad

it means that windows will not use dns for the adress but this directing – to the host server…

At first it didn’t work because I though I had to add a ”#” before the line…but if you do so, your line will be ignored.

Hope that can help someone and thanks to my host Netplanet.cz for patiently explaining me this
