Hi Matt,

I didn’t try Devin’s change but I did spot a suspicious looking php.ini file in my WP root that I didn’t recognise. On opening it I spotted the following lines:

session.save_handler = memcache
session.save_path = "tcp://10.168.1.55:11211?persistent=1&weight=1&timeout=1&retry_interval=15"

This looked like an attempted exploit and the possible cause of the issue. Deleting said file resolved the problem.

Another thing that’s not working:

* DB Backup plugin should auto backup once a week – it doesn’t work either.

Yes, I have the same problem here. I want to hide @replies but the options don’t show.

I think I’ve found the problem, it was in fact in the Redirection plugin, which detects and adds redirects for modified posts but doesn’t bother checking to see if it’s creating a loop in the process ??

Hmmm. My permalink structure is /blog/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/. The page is called “Get On!”. I do indeed have a static front page. If I switch permalinks and back nothing changes. I am accessing the page by clicking the menu link as generated by wp_list_pages.

Looking at it again, this entire stretch of code is being put in a single javascript function argument by the plugin (look at where the (‘ and ‘) occur). Browser is rendering the argument as HTML:
