  • I discovered today that if I disable the Web API access in Gravity Forms, then the issue I was experiencing is resolved. That may be where the conflict resides. I haven’t had a chance to look into it any further. Just hoping this information will help someone.

I completely understand. Thank you for your time looking into it, though. I appreciate it. I will continue to try and find a solution. If I do find something, I will be sure to post it here.

It’s a single site install, and I’ve tried deactivating every plugin except for Gravity Forms and Timeline Express with the same results. I’m thoroughly confused. Rationally, it just doesn’t make any sense to me. I can’t see where one should be impacting the other.

I have tried installing the Twenty Sixteen theme on the site, and the issue persists.

The only reason that I’m assuming there’s a conflict between those two particular plugins right now is simply because I can have one or the other active on the site and it will work properly. However, as soon as I have them both active, then all links except for the home page return as “Page Not Found”. That is unless I change the permalink structure as I mentioned above. They worked together just fine under 4.4.2 without any problems.

I’m also thinking that there’s a conflict between those two specific plugins due to the fact that they’re the only ones that I have in common with ragtech with the exception of Akismet and Responsive Lightbox. I’ll continue to dig deeper, though.

One other bit of information I can provide is that changing the permalink structure to “Plain” fixes the issue for the site that I’m working on. However, if I use the “Post name” permalink structure that the site has always been on, then I end up with the same navigational issue that ragtech mentioned in his original post – all of the site’s pages return 404 errors except for the home page.

ragtech – I’m using a custom theme. After updating to WordPress 4.5, it appears that there’s a conflict between Timeline Express (1.1.8.3) and Gravity Forms (1.9.18). I can have one or the other active but not both, so that may be where your problem is stemming from as well. It may not have anything to do with the Divi theme at all. Try deactivating Gravity Forms and then reactivating Timeline Express.

Evan – Both Timeline Express and Gravity Forms are very important to the site that I’m working on, so I’m curious to find out if you’re able to discover a fix based on this information.
