In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] 2.1.7 crashes my siteJuergenke,
I don’t think the WP update is related. I updated this plugin and had my sites go down before we’d upgraded. Two different sites. Three other sites I run that don’t use this plugin are just fine.Forum: Plugins

Yes, unfortunately a commercial organization is indeed asking you to look into your own logs and edit PHP to make their product work.Andrew,
Though your advice is good, this thread is for support from what is really a commercial organization. They have a commercial version of this product that is also failing everyone and their website claims “Timely is a group of 15 developers, support staff and managers.” If that’s the case people should be able to expect this plugin not to melt their website. People should be nice to each other, but the developers need to get on this. Asking for separate threads is pretty silly since everyone is having effectively the same problem. They upgraded and they got the white screen of death.Everyone else,
I just started using this plugin so I just deleted the folder for it and got my site back. I’m sure I lost my content, but I didn’t have much.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] White Screen of Death. Everytime.I repeat, debug your own code. This is “support.” I’m not on your coding team. I come here for help, not to help you.
Of course you “simply made an error.” That simple error took my high traffic websites offline and caused me to delete your plugin. I had the CEO calling me on my cellphone about it. It wasn’t simple at our end. We had a very populated calendar and that will have to be rebuilt using whatever tool I use instead of yours. Many pages of content will disappear and new ones will have to be made. Now I’ll have search engines seeing content going away and sending people to dead pages. We lost money during our downtime. Don’t be so careless and have such a “no big deal” attitude about it.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] White Screen of Death. Everytime. The error is the same that so many are seeing. They updated the plugin and they got an internal server error (white screen) that went away when they deleted your plugin. Pretty simple. Debug your own code, people expect things to work. If we have to hack your code and cross our fingers everytime we update we’re just going to use something else.
SO glad we can all use our websites to beta-test your plugins.

Your support link simply describes php errors. You forgot to mention its YOUR plugin that failed. No one wants to debug your code for you. We all know about PHP errors. YOUR plugin is the problem. I’m not here for your support since I’ll be finding a different tool to use, but thanks for your very kind offer of help.Forum: Plugins
