In reply to: Anyone know what this error message meansThanks, all. I replaced the wp-blog-header.php file from my backup, and everything is now fine. I scrupulous about updating to most current versions, but this has now happened to me several times. I’m going to read through the recommended link to figure out how to stop this from happening.

In reply to: This is a new one…Found the error log in my root directory in the handy file named “logs” – it is blank.

In reply to: This is a new one…Hmmm, I hadn’t made any changes that I am aware of. How do I generate error logs?

In reply to: Need help with error messageDue to lack of interest, I had to sort this one out myself and wander outside of my comfort zone, but all is well.
I solved the problem by reinstalling 2.6.3 according to the longer instructions, and it all worked out.

In reply to: HackedOr maybe not…I’ve been searching through the comments and it appears that others have had this same error message and it was unrelated to hacking. (I’ve been hacked twice this week, so I am a little gunshy maybe.) Anyway, I’ve read through the fixes for the error message and have two problems (1) I don’t understand them and (2) I am wondering why this happened weeks after I upgraded???

In reply to: Strange error messageEverything is back to normal. Thanks to terriann, I simply deleted all the stuff before the <?php and that did the trick.
Thanks for the feedback. How do I prevent this type of attack in the future?

In reply to: Strange error messageSorry for violating protocol and not searching first for a solution. I am a little unsure how to access the file if I can not reach the login screen, but will try going through my FTP server for access. Also, I am curious why this issue would suddenly appear. I have not made any changes to that file, and things were working well earlier today.

In reply to: Help With Creating New PageIf you would like to have a box where your readers submit their info and comments and have it sent to a hidden e-mail address, install the plug in called WP-Contact Form. It was easy enough that even I was able to handle it. The directions are pretty straight forward.
