I’m getting the same thing. Upgraded to 4.2.1 and got dropped right into a blank white page. Renamed other plugin folders – no change. Renamed Nextgen plugin folder, problem fixed.

I’m sure you’ll get this fixed in an update eventually, but in the meantime I’m moving my client to another gallery. The gallery supports a lot of their site.

Same error – it is reporting the new size of 400x___ for each of the first 250 images, and of course each subsequent run just skips them. But I am unable to get the search function to move to the *next* 250 images.

I know that as a plugin author you’re probably thinking ‘user error’ but based on the responses in this thread, I’d move on to ‘bug’…

OK, just pushed this site from local dev to live server and all the icons are there. Evidently just a glitch locally…

I normally use Duplicator, but because of a setup that one particular client was using, WP Clone was better. If it worked…

But Duplicator is fine. You have to pretty much delete the entire WordPress installation first, so it isn’t good for migrating between a staging server and a live production server, but it’s great for backups and duplication.

Pippin, you’re right. I edited my review to remove the last word. That word was unnecessary and a bit of an over-reaction on my part.

However, you’ve also caused me to completely rethink my involvement with the WordPress community and open source in general. It’s almost all completely free, from the source to the themes to the plugins, and no one is obligated to support any of it. Doesn’t really feel like something I should depend on for my livelihood!

Well, the posts are showing, but I just noticed other problems. Image thumbnails and icons are gone. This includes the Galleries menu item in the dashboard and other places. Giving up on this one, uninstalled…

meh – had to cut and paste a lot, but eventually got ’em all in there. Found a hacked folder too, providing a symlink back to the root directory. Removing that certainly cut down on the package size. ??
