Thank you Marko. In touch with Hostgator team to get it resolved. I think I am moving in right direction now to resolve the problem.

Tried making homepage a static page – no effect

Updates:
Tried disabling W3TC – no effect
Disabled browser and page cache – no effect
Connected W3 Total cache with cloudflare at API level – No effect

Additionally, I found that some of the older posts are also in the previous theme format. Totally confused with erratic nature of the problem.

Please help

I have also deactivated homepage caching on W3TC.
Additionally, I found that in some browsers and places the “Recent Posts” are also not updating even on pages and post-pages.
