Problem is theme, great for many years but since last 1/2 in bad, very hands. I can’t change it now, required a work too hard or heavy outlay for the time being, so, I would like to know if overwriting the current version of Yoast with the penultimate one — from a backup and by FTP (FileZilla) — is feasible without losing its settings/functions and if it can solve the problem.

Since 2 October error.log no recorded more problems, although nothing has been done on our side and the situation is still stable, i.e. 4 days after the update.

The first error notification dates back to 20 August, and was repeated up to two days before the last update, after which the error.log error.log started to report it every 15 minutes again until yesterday at 12:30, but since 10:30 today – without having made any changes to the site – the problem has returned although it seems to be different and is as follows:

The error is the only one on log file and logged every 15 minutes.
About the value of connect_timeout, if you mean in phpmyadmin, is 30, while in php.ini, it’s not set.

Update

In php.ini I tried setting mysql.connect_timeout to 60, but nothing has changed.
