In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] new update error on consoleHi there,
Could you provide a link to a page where this error can be seen, as well as the browser/OS/devices that you’ve seen it on?

In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] I don’t see comment counts on my blog post pageIf you’ve got the Disqus count script (count.js) installed on the page, the most likely culprit for a comment count not filling with the correct number of the thread is that the comment count link value likely does not exactly match the thread URL value for the thread showing on the page.
To determine the thread URL value for a thread with comments, you’ll want to locate a comment from this thread in the moderation panel (or you can click the dropdown menu in the comment section and select “Moderate” to be taken directly to it). Click on that comment in the moderation panel so that the right sidebar appears, and you should be able to click the option at the bottom of that sidebar “Moderate all comments in this discussion”. This will input the Thread ID into the search bar.
You can then use this API call with that thread ID to determine the details of that thread: https://disqus.com/api/docs/threads/details/
The “Link” value in the API response will be the thread URL. You’ll want to ensure that your comment count link value matches the thread link value *exactly*, with #disqus_thread appended to the end. This should allow the correct comment count to appear.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] Crappy sponsored links…Sponsored links can be disabled by subscribing to an Ads-Free plan (https://help.disqus.com/en/articles/1717110-disqus-pricing-and-plans), and then navigating to your Ads Settings page and clicking the Deactivate button at the bottom of the Ads Settings page.
Additionally, Disqus is currently fully GDPR compliant. More information may be found in our TOS or here: https://help.disqus.com/en/articles/1886218-privacy-faq

In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] It doesn’t work anymore | 2020/21Can you clarify what part is not working for you?
We still have many publishers using the Disqus WordPress plugin without issue, so if you could provide more details on the functionality you are having trouble with, we can either help you with your integration or document a bug to fix.
Thanks for reporting this! We’ve confirmed the issue on our end, and will be working towards a fix so that the post date shows correctly in the WP system.

In reply to: [Disqus Comment System] Localization of this pluginDisqus is translated into other languages with Transifex, the crowdsource translation service that we use to offer translations of the Disqus embed. If you’d like to help us review the translation to make it available for use, you can do so by following the steps outlined here: https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/466219-translating-disqus#translate
If you’re interested in the status of your language (or others) please see our Translation Status page here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/disqus/resource/js/
An additional detail to note: whenever new Disqus features are added, additional strings are added to Transifex which require translation and review.
Forums which are already using a given language will still be able to use the language even if it drops below the review threshold for availability, but new forums will need to wait until the desired language is translated and reviewed above 75% in Transifex before they can select it from the drop-down.
