Sorry for the delay. Life got real busy. We were able to get by deactivating the plugin, making our changes, and then reactivating.

I did what you said and got the following from the console:

What console? And on which page? The page where I’m trying to add media?

I am using the latest release of WP, 3.9.1.

I am using Backcountry Child Theme version 1.0.1 which is a child of Genesis version 1.8.2.

Well, the fix above didn’t directly fix the issue I’d been having but it did allow me to see what was wrong with the list I had created. My issue has been fixed, though in a round about way!

I’d really appreciate if someone would take this on as well. I’ve been asked to admin a site that I didn’t build and the webmaster that the org had has died, so I can’t ask her questions about what she did to get the site together. I’ve been having a problem with a people list issue for the last month at least and so far have not been able to find a solution.

The above fix didn’t fix the issue I’m having currently but it at least answered the question about why the template info link didn’t do anything.

Well, it’s a town web site. So posts by the select board are posted both on the front page and the select board’s page (the second page). After a few days, the select board member that posts items un-clicks the “front page” category in an effort to make the post only appear on the select board page. There’s less clutter on the front page this way. But it doesn’t drop off the front page. It remains there.

And the theme is Twenty Ten.

I’m aware it’s a couple incremental updates behind. Between work and school and just not having time in general to make a backup of the site before performing an update, I hadn’t gotten to that yet. I do have time for these smaller things though. Are you suggesting that updating the WP files will fix my issue?

I’ve just now discovered something else. I tried adding another country, Bulgaria, that didn’t previously exist. I added it to the page and added users to it and again, they don’t work. So it seems there’s something wrong with any new lists that I create.

And my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. For some reason, I didn’t get an email saying that you had replied. Not sure why since I’m still subbed.

Anyway, it’s working fine now from what I can tell. I’ll see if I get any complaints in the morning when everyone wakes up. ??

Also, the RSS feeds on the main page of the dashboard are not working. “WP HTTP Error: Couldn’t resolve host ‘www.remarpro.com'” is the error that I get.

I’m still not sure where that file would go. Any help? Thanks!

Going through the plugins file on the server, I don’t see it there. Where would wp-document-revisions-type-custom-field.php go once I download it? Which directory?

When I updated, I just went through the WP control panel and had it do the update. So if anything got overwritten, it was the WP CP that overwrote it during the install process. In other words, I didn’t do a manual install.
