In reply to: [Note Finder for WooCommerce] Nice pluginHello @gabriel-reguly
Thank you for an excellent 5-star rating! It’s great to hear that our plugin does the job.
It’s a pity that this functionality is not built-in WooCommerce by default though…

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] Deprecation notices on PHP 8.1Hello @titsmaker
Thank you for reporting this. You are right, the plugin may still give some deprecation notices (which are not errors) on some PHP 8.X versions.
Please give me a couple of days to prepare a fix. It is going to be fixed in the upcoming release. Stay tuned!

In reply to: [Note Finder for WooCommerce] problem with items per pageHello @qilin2000
Thanks for your post.
The problems you are experiencing are connected with the process of forking WPC Order Notes. Unfortunately, Pagination, Items per page field, and Editing and managing notes have not been correctly implemented yet.
We plan to make the plugin more functional in one of the upcoming updates. Please stay tuned for new releases.

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] New version suggestionsHello @tanohex
Thanks you for your extensive feedback.
1. I have tried to replicate this issue in my test environment but unfortunatelly I was unable to duplicate the error on my side. Could you please check your debug_log and server error_log and look for errors? I there are any, please paste them in this thread.
2. Sure, you are right. Because now the plugin is more general WordPress-oriented, there is no need for WooCommerce requiremen. A new menu under WordPress Setting might be also more clear, but are you sure that it won’t clutter your admin panel by adding more links to the menu which is already heavily packed in some websites.
I think it is a great idea to show / hide WooCommerce options based on WooCommerce plugin detection.
3. Thanks for this. Our long-term goal is to make the plugin an all-in-one solution – so that you won’t need any other plugins. I will definetely check this plugins’ features.
Cheers!

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] Great that is expandingThanks for a 5-star rating! It’s great to hear that you are also interested in removing bloat.
Can you point specific area in the WooCommerce admin interface that you would like to hide, disable, or turned off? We are looking for new ideas to develop this plugin, and if you have some, they might be implemented in the future.

In reply to: [Note Finder for WooCommerce] Woocommerce REST API?Hello @thibotus01
Thank you for your question.
The plugin does not include any functions impacting the standard WooCommerce REST API.
As I look through the REST API documentation, there is no easy way to find a specific note by searching for words from its content. You have to know the particular note ID and order ID to retrieve it using API.

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] v3.0 feedbackHello @galbaras
Thank you for your extensive feedback. We will take it into account while working on the new version of the plugin!
1. We spent a lot of time thinking about the location of the plugin settings menu. We didn’t want to add another top-level menu in your WordPress admin, as it would be another additional element in your WordPress dashboard. We tried to keep it simple. So, do you think it would be better to add a new top-level menu element or add it under WordPress Settings? Or maybe in the Tools section? What do you think?
2-5: these are great ideas for plugin improvements, thank you. Stay tuned for updates.
Hello @yatgirl
I understand that looking at all the PRO options might be annoying if you are not planning to use them. They cannot be simply “turned off”, as they are hardcoded in the plugin.
What you can do is hide them using userscript in your browser. Just follow the instructions given in this thread.
This way, the elements which you do not want to see will stay hidden on your side and you could enjoy the simplified interface.

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] used to be a must have pluginHi @ucsendre
You can be sure that core WooCommerce features will be still maintained and will be always available. I understand that they might be important for you and therefore they won’t be removed.
The goal was to create an all-in-one solution to remove bloat and clean up your site and admin panel so that you won’t need any other plugins which may be slowing down your page. I hope that you will still use the plugin.

In reply to: [Disable Bloat for WordPress & WooCommerce] Oh the ironyHello @probablynotphil
I understand that you might be disappointed by the direction of the evolution of the plugin. But please acknowledge that the core WooCommerce features are and always will be available and actively developed.
Also, the new features now give you the ability to declutter your WordPress admin panel without using additional plugins. In fact, your site and admin panel should actually run faster with the 3.X.X version of the plugin, after activating new options!
The goal was to create a real all-in-one solution for your WordPress WooCommerce so that you won’t need any other plugins to boost your site’s and admin interface performance.
