I’m the plugin developer of WP Super Minify, and here is my comment on a similar topic.
I plan to run some security tests this weekend and share my thoughts here. If needed, I’ll apply the patch and release the update shortly.
Meanwhile, I don’t see any known vulnerabilities when I search this plugin under Wordfence Vulnerability Database.
The link you shared above appears to be broken. Could you provide more info. please? I am happy to look into this quickly.
Thanks!
Hi @romi74,
As promised, released version 2.2.1 today. This includes minor code changes and instant.page preloader version update to 5.2 (latest currently).
Updates are releasing the next week, or sooner.
Did you try changing the plugin options such as unchecking Compress JavaScript option?
Hello,
Thanks for choosing this plugin to improve your site’s performance. I’ve checked the report and the suggestions it gives are something different than what the plugin offers such as “Reduce initial server response time”, and a few others.
You can read the plugin description for more info. about what this plugin does and how it improves performance.
* I am marking this thread as resolved but you can reply back here in case you need any more help.
Thanks!
Hey @rulexai, Thanks for trying one of my plugins!
Basic settings are sufficient and
Optimize More!
tab includes recommendations (third party plugins and services), so you can simply ignore that notice for time being. However, the next version release should fix this issue. If this plugin helps you and you’re happy with the support, I appreciate you leaving a 5-star review.

Awesome! Thanks for updating the review.
You can start a support thread in case find any issues and I will try my best to help.
Thanks!
I’ve also taken a note and will look for the best way to exclude lazy load script from the minification (or what else can be done) to prevent this issue from happening in the future releases of the plugin.
Yes! As the lazy load script has to do with images and this plugin minifies the scripts, that might be the reason that caused broken images.
If you’re happy with the support and willing to change your reviews to positive (5-star?), I really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to share the info.
? WP Rocket already provides the same minification functionality so you don’t need this plugin.
? You’ve said you already turned off JS and CSS minify under WP Rocket whilst using this plugin and images were still broken. Could you confirm Lazy Load was enabled or disabled under WP Rocket settings?
didnt show img of site
Could you provide more info. on this please?
Hey @luxworx,
It looks like your site runs on nginx server. Could you check your hosting server’s nginx configuration, or ask hosting support to confirm compression is enabled at the server level?
Thanks!
Hi Olivier,
Did you try checking/unchecking options such as Remove query strings from static content under plugin settings?
