  • I switched to Economy Linux Hosting with cPanel and used the promo code CJC1HOS1. You will not pay more if you use the coupon. I got a great deal as well and this time my store Military Boutique actually works (still a work in progress though)! You have to call and ask them to help you switch plans and don’t forget to mention the promotional code! Before you make any changes…did you test your site while you are not logged in to your wp account? Do your products show up or not? Just making sure you don’t make any unnecessary changes.

Is it with GoDaddy? If yes, you can easily switch your plan, but you may have to build your site again:( I know it sucks!

Do you use managed WordPress for your hosting? Just to test it, log out of your wp account and then go to your website from the same computer to see if your products still show up. I’ve had a similar problem. My products were showing up when I was logged in to my wordpress account. But they were gone as soon as I was logged out on mine and other computers. At the end I had to change my hosting plan, because it seems like the managed WordPress blocks the Spreadplugin. It was weird, my hosting provider couldn’t figure out the problem either.

    Hi Thimo,
Can you please send me also an “opened” version without the limit of 1000 products? I changed my email and website, so here is my new contact info: https://www.military.boutique/contact/
    Thanks! Dina

    Hi Thimo,
The problem is not on your end and the plugin’s functionality. Now I know for sure it’s a godaddy configuration or cache problem, cause I tested the plugin last night on another server and it works perfectly fine(even when I am logged out)!
I agree with you hpdblackhawk, it is frustrating!
Thanks again Thimo for sharing this wonderful plugin, es tut mir leid und alles ist klar jetzt!

The Version 3.6.2 is the only one that works right now for me and my products still appear when I am logged out. I tested all recent versions and they make my store look like it’s hidden. But the 3.6.2
causes my server to crash sometimes and my pages load slowly. Any support would be highly appreciated, as donation and positive feedback has already been given. Thank you.

Hi Thimo. I just realized that my products appear in my store only when I am signed in to my wp admin account! As soon as I sign out and go to my store, I get the message: “No articles, please rebuild cache”. I tested it on different computers and cleared the cache, but the problem persists. This is so weird, can you please take a look at the specific page https://militarypridegifts.com/army/us-army-eagle/ and let me know if you see any products? Thank you.

Everything is back to normal now and my store Military Pride Gifts works great! I also use the right api key. Thanks for all your support!

They are not listed and I have to rebuild the cache. After I rebuild it, all my articles appear again but the next day are gone again. It may be a temporary glitch?

Thimo, Thanks for the quick response. I already called the US Spreadshirt office and they can’t create a new API key/secret combination or reset them for me. They referred me to the German developers forum/support, so I will contact them with my request. Especially if my store starts acting weird again, so far so good.

    David,
I’ve had the same problem for about a week and couldn’t find a way to fix it until yesterday. Thimo told me it may be an API issue and sure enough it was. My API key or secret key (or both) stopped working and we can’t generate a new API key within the same account. So out of desperation, I opened a new Spreadshirt store just to test the new API. And it worked like a charm! On the plugin options-Settings, add your old shop’s id number and the new API and secret keys and rebuild cache. If your problem is API related, your basket should work now. Also your items will go to the shopping cart of your old store, not the new one. Which is great and exactly what we want. I am not sure if my solution will resolve your problem, but is worth trying as you have nothing to loose:) Dina
