    First of all it’s not a WordPress site, but a Joomla one:

    <meta name=”generator” content=”Joomla! 1.5 – Open Source Content Management” />

    The theme is called YouFauna:

    <link href=”https://www.e8lie.com/templates/youfauna/css/template.css&#8221; rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” />

    You do know you can right-click and view source in your browser right? ??

    The theme itself is found for download easily by Googling the name. I won’t link it here as it is not a WordPress theme.

    Nevermind, the php snippet required to load the plugin was in a div marked as hidden in the theme. I moved it out of there and put it just above the message box in a div with some margin adjustments and now it looks good.

    Now I just need to figure out while it automatically clears the form on the wrong captcha (is this standard behavior?), which was what led me to believe comments were automatically discarded.

    It sure sounds like someone hacked your site.

    I’m barely keeping myself awake atm. so my brain functions are somewhat reduced. However what comes to mind is that maybe this hacker (if you were indeed hacked) erased your css file. Check the contents of your .css files to see if they’ve been emptied.
    I tried accessing your .css files from the browser myself and they won’t load. I also tried downloading one of them with wget and got an error there as well that the file was missing. You might want to check that the location of the theme is the same as what WP knows to be the location of the theme. According to the page source your .css is located at: https://thelansingblog.com/wp-content/themes/thesis_16/style.css
