I have tried adding this to the child-theme css, and added it in the Single event page formatting section (see below). Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? It is still not working.

For those who are following the culprit was:

<i>#_LOCATIONNAME, #_LOCATIONTOWN, #_LOCATIONSTATE</i>

I removed that line and the quotes went away.

It has now lasted almost 24 hours….

Steven, I hadn’t thought to use my form plugin, (I do use Easy Registration Forms). I was just going to write the HTML myself: https://www.w3docs.com/tools/code-editor/1118

To bestheets, I don’t want the user to have to copy and paste the url themselves….many folks don’t even know what that means.

I am leaving this post active, but I think I have corrected the problem by resetting the template to its default.

It swapped back to the skewed version a few times, but it seems to be ‘holding.’

I will check it as complete in another 24 hours.

The notes in the membership type are supposed to be superscripted in the field they refer to. I had to put (see note#) as temporary fix.

Thank you for that wonderfully explicit diagram! But I do not see any of this when I use wordpress to edit the html. I do see it when I use the developer tools. Where do I edit it, within wordpress – or is that not possible. BTW, I don’t know if this is important, but this is a page not a post.

I just reread your post and see that I answered the wrong question. I don’t know how it changed, but that setting was the problem. All fixed now!

Both the site url and wordpress url are set to the root directory http:/medats.uk.org

I have emptied the trash but I am still unable to remove the ‘home’ from the homepage. I get a 404 error if I go to the root directory.

I found the ToS in my account. I didn’t find anywhere asking me to accept it. So far no response from LJ support.

The website from which the above link comes does NOT use the Staff List plugin. The site it links to: https://medats.org.uk/officers/#nutshell uses the plugin.
This is a picture of the bio in edit mode mode.

I am asking for help as to why it doesn’t go to where the anchor is at the bottom of the page-perhaps my coding is wrong. Since the link actually does take one to the correct page, I suspect my coding is wrong or perhaps the plugin is interfering? Note, on the photo I supplied…it states *html is allowed.

I solved the menu issue by deleting all the menus….there are quite a few…then recreated the Main menu.

After poking around I realized there was a link at the top of the pages page, to launch the website…a little confusing because the “coming soon” page doesnt appear in the list of pages.
