Your screenshot looks OK except one things, in content section content width is 0. You should provide some value depending on you container width and thumbnail width.

I am little surprised, I see thumbnail and title is selected in the screenshot but I see content in your provided url https://clearcharity.org/2015/uncategorized/test-of-slider

Check one more time that you are using this [avps-slideshow optset=”3″] shortcode which option set id is 3.

I am unable to reproduce the problem in my environment. So, it’s hard to find out the actual problem with you.

I checked your link. Be sure that you are changing right optset. Check the optset id from ‘Label & Usage’ and your used optset id.

Hi, the feature is well tested in different setup. There is no problem with the excerpt length.

look like you was trying template three and used both Excerpt and content at a time. If you select content then slider will show your full post content not the excerpt. So, if you want to show only number of words from content then select excerpt with other needed element like thumbnail, title.

From ‘Title & Excerpt’ section change font size unit to pixel. After that you may need to adjust font size.

From ‘Container & Thumbnail’ section look for ‘Slide Container Width’, change it to your desired value. Slider takes height from thumbnail height. To change height you need to change thumbnail height.

Click ‘Thumbnails’ tab, change both width and height of your used thumbnail size.

For template one and two ‘Slide Container Width’ and thumbnail width should be same.

Your original image size is smaller than your specified slider width and height. Specially for ‘Volkl V-Werks Katana Ski’ this slide.

To fit the slider width and height your images are up-scaled, for that it looks stretched/blurry.

To make it better upload higher size image or adjust slider width and height to lower value.

For template one you can use manual excerpt field from post edit screen.
For template three you can use both manual excerpt field and full post content.

Look like your thumbnails are cropped. Your original image size is larger than slider thumbnail size and crop mode is enabled for thumbnail settings so its cropped to fit the area.

Try using crop mode false or resize your images according to your needed slider width, height by yourself using Photoshop or other image editor and upload again as featured thumbnail. Then go to adv. slider ‘Container & Thumbnail’ section and select ‘full’ for ‘Select Thumbnail’ drop down.

I will ad option to exclude IP addresses ASAP.

Check that you have manage_option capability.

Better over-write that CSS in your theme rather then changing plugin file, then you don’t need to change it every time you do a update. Also, I will try to add an option for it.

Container id is changed, to make it more unique. So, if you write code for #container3{....} change it to #advps_container3{....}

Thank you also. Hopefully latest update will work for you, but still I cant reproduce the issue on my environment. So, I am looking for the exact cause of the problem. Yes, Wordfence is not causing the issue.
